WebCamera Component provides the user with the possibility to connect to a wider range of IP cameras compared to the original MJPEG component.
- Camera ID specifies ID of the camera which is taken out of the “Web Cameras” section under “views” (Main icon) properties
- Controls – allows to add additional arrows to move with camera if the camera supports it
How to add new camera?
- Click on the views – main default icon and in the properties menu click on -> Cameras ‘…’
- Now, you can either use the discovery method to discover available cameras on the local network
If the camera is found, you can simply select it. You will be asked to provide a username/password if the camera is secured.
If credentials are correct, you should see the live stream from the camera.
- Now add the camera. It will get a unique ID that you specify in the component, and that way, after downloading the project, the stream should be loaded into the component, and you should be able to see the live video recording out of the camera.
