The Settings tab provides additional configuration options for the mySCADA PRO software. Let’s explore the key settings:
Storages
The Storages tab allows you to modify the project directory path and the logs directory path. When changing these settings, ensure that the target directory already exists. After saving the changes, follow these steps:
- On Windows, stop and start the container.
- On Linux, the changes will apply to the new myPRO container deployment. You have to either delete the current container and download the same version again or obtain a newer version where the changes will be applied.
Note: If you’ve logged any data, it will be lost as the new directory will be empty, and the project will have to be downloaded again.
Ports
The Ports section enables users to customize the HTTP and HTTPS ports for the runtime/HMI. By default, HTTP uses port 80, and HTTPS uses port 443. To save port changes, follow the same steps as when modifying storage paths.
Passwords
Users can change the default password for downloading projects in the Passwords section. Additionally, API Live and API History passwords can be updated immediately. Feel free to explore these settings and tailor them to your requirements!
